NEW ORLEANS - The Coast Guard was searching for a missing cruise ship passenger approximately 150 miles off of Louisiana. "Only on Tuesday were we advised of the possibility of him wearing a different shirt, which allowed our security team to change the profile of the guest as we searched onboard video," the Carnival spokesperson said. "We have informed the U.S. Coast Guard and are providing assistance to the guest’s family that was traveling with him." Security officials from Carnival allegedly removed the woman from a hot tub and placed her in handcuffs. At some point, the restrained woman jumped over the side of the ship, reportedly hitting lifeboats on the way to landing face down in the water.

In a blog post, they wrote that they suspended the search after looking "approximately 2,514 square miles for over 14 search hours."
